Frequently Asked Questions
Where do you photograph family sessions in Colorado?
I love using the natural beauty of Colorado as a backdrop, from mountain overlooks and open fields to cozy downtown spots and family homes. If you have a favorite place, I’m happy to meet you there, or I can suggest a few tried-and-true locations that photograph beautifully year-round.
What should we wear for our family portraits?
Keep it simple and comfortable. Neutrals, soft earth tones, or colors that complement each other work best outdoors. Avoid loud patterns or large logos. The goal is to help your family stand out naturally, not the clothes. I’m always happy to help you coordinate looks if you’re unsure!
What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate?
Colorado weather can change fast, but don’t worry — I always build in a backup plan. If conditions aren’t ideal, we’ll reschedule for another day at no extra cost. Overcast skies or a light sprinkle can actually make for beautiful, soft lighting, so we’ll roll with whatever the day brings.
How do we book a session?
Once you’ve decided you’re ready, just reach out through the contact form or email me directly. I’ll send over available dates, pricing details, and a quick prep guide so you know exactly what to expect. A small deposit holds your spot, and the rest is due the day of your session.
